Brisbane Relay For Life event is a community event,
designed to raise funds for Cancer Council Queensland's mission to
find a cure for cancer. Relay For Life is an incredible overnight
event that is an opportunity for family, friends and colleagues to
get together with the community and celebrate cancer survivors,
remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a
disease that takes too much.
It is a unique event where teams of 10 to 15
challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a
relay style walk or run overnight. Each event is unique and you can
stay for the whole event, camp overnight, or just visit and enjoy
the free entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make Relay For
Life so inspirational.
1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer
before the age of 85. Each dollar that is raised can make a
difference in helping fund Cancer Council's research, prevention,
education and support services.
